Job summary

Tanium is seeking a Program Manager to own the program management of product development activities—from ideation through go-to-market—for their assigned portfolio within the CTO's organization.

This is a build role, not a maintenance role, requiring collaboration across Engineering, UX, Enablement, and Marketing to move products through the development lifecycle in a hybrid office setting (Durham, NC or Bellevue, WA) at least three days a week.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in program or project management, ideally having built or significantly matured a process rather than only operating within an existing one.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the spec-driven product launch end-to-end—from ideation to delivery—across a product portfolio area.
• Manage multiple concurrent workstreams across stakeholders and stages, keeping momentum without perfect alignment.
• Set timelines, hold cross-functional partners accountable, and communicate readiness to leadership (including when to push back on scope or deadlines).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams—subject matter experts, UX, Engineering, Enablement, Legal, Marketing—to drive decisions.
• Develop first-draft materials for product enablement and marketing from directional input, not a finished brief.
• Act as a proxy to Product Managers, representing priorities and making calls in their absence.
