Job summary

Vizient in Chicago seeks a product manager/owner to independently own defined internal platform capabilities, including reusable rules engines and AI workflow support. You will own the backlog, write user stories, and collaborate with engineering and internal users to translate business logic into scalable, configuration-driven platform features.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree preferred.
• 2+ years of product management/ownership experience.
• 3–5 years in product ownership, platform products, BPM, or AI-enabled workflows.
• Experience with backlogs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and iterative delivery.
• Experience with rules engines, workflow automation platforms, or enterprise platform tech.
• Demonstrated ability to translate processes into scalable technical solutions with engineering teams.
• Experience using AI tools to improve discovery, documentation, and communication.

Responsibilities

• Own the backlog and near-term roadmap for internal platform capabilities.
• Conduct discovery with internal users to identify pain points and adoption barriers.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, configuration-driven platform capabilities.
• Balance priorities across client value, architectural direction, and governance.
• Collaborate with engineering, AI Delivery, security, data, and design teams to sequence work and drive reuse.
