Job summary

Vizient, Inc. is seeking a Platform Product Manager for Rules & Workflows Engine to own internal platform capabilities, drive adoption, and translate business logic into scalable, configuration-driven solutions.

Qualifications

Relevant degree preferred.
2+ years of relevant experience required.
Typically 3–5 years of relevant experience in product management, product ownership, platform products, BPM, or enterprise technology.
Experience as Product Owner or Product Manager with backlog, user stories, acceptance criteria.
Experience with rules engines, BPM, configuration-driven products or similar enterprise platforms.
Demonstrated ability translating business processes into scalable technical solutions with engineering.
Experience using AI tools (Codex/ChatGPT, Claude Code/Co-Work, GitHub Copilot) to improve discovery, documentation, and communication.
Ability to independently manage a defined platform capability or workstream.
Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Own the backlog and near-term roadmap for internal platform capabilities (rules engines, workflow automation, data enablement, AI workflow support, developer experience).
Conduct discovery with internal users to understand workflow pain points, adoption barriers, and value opportunities, including AI-first opportunities.
Translate business logic into scalable platform capabilities via user stories, requirements, acceptance criteria, and validation approaches.
Balance platform priorities across client needs, engineering capacity, governance, risk, and AI opportunities.
Collaborate with engineering, security, data, and design teams to sequence work and evaluate tradeoffs for reusable platform capabilities.
Support planning, release readiness, documentation, validation, and adoption activities.
Track usage, adoption, and outcomes to refine backlog priorities and improve platform performance.
Develop guidance and enablement resources to help internal users adopt platform capabilities in AI-first workflows.
