Cisco is seeking a high-caliber strategic leader to head the Global Events Marquee and Industry portfolio, shaping brand storytelling and attendee journeys to drive revenueImpact across the event portfolio.

You will lead a team of engagement managers and collaborate with Marquee, Industry, Strategy, and Brand teams to deliver a cohesive, premium Cisco brand experience globally, leveraging an AI-first mindset to optimize content and decision-making.

Qualifications

10+ years in event marketing within high-tech
15+ years in strategic communications
10+ years of leadership in managing teams
Proven track record of flagship event initiatives
Executive-level presenting and storytelling skills
Brand storytelling aligned with evolving Cisco vision
Experience integrating AI tools to improve workflow and content velocity

Responsibilities

Direct the development and execution of multi-channel engagement strategies across all owned and paid channels
Lead AI-first innovations to streamline content development and processes
Partner with Marquee, Industry, Strategy, and Brand leaders for cohesive brand experiences
Define KPIs and report on event efficacy and ROI across the portfolio
Mentor senior and mid-level managers and manage complex vendor relationships
Provide data-driven advisory insights to shape future event communications
