Job summary

Hirewell is recruiting for a Director, AI Enterprise Architecture in Chicago. You will define and own the AI-first enterprise architecture vision, standards, and governance, chair the Architecture Review Board, and lead two AI Solution Architects as part of a large-scale transformation across platforms.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in software engineering and architecture.
• 5+ years in solution architect or enterprise architecture leadership.
• Production SaaS platform ownership experience.
• Fluency with cloud, APIs, and data platforms.
• Excellent communication for executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Define AI-first enterprise architecture vision and standards.
• Chair Architecture Review Board and set governance.
• Lead AI Solution Architects and partner with other architects.
• Define API, data contract, and interoperability standards.
• Ensure security, governance, and responsible AI practices.
