Jet Support Services, Inc. in Chicago seeks a Director of AI First Enterprise Architecture to define and own the enterprise architecture vision for AI-enabled software.

You will chair the Architecture Review Board, guide two AI Solution Architects, and collaborate with Engineering leaders to enforce common patterns and guardrails across all teams. You will publish reference architectures and ADRs, standardize API and data contracts, and ensure secure, scalable, and compliant AI-enabled systems

Qualifications

• 12+ years in software engineering and architecture with production SaaS platforms.
• 5+ years in solution/enterprise architecture leadership.
• Fluency in Microsoft stack and distributed-systems patterns.
• Hands-on AI-first, spec-driven workflows and agentic systems.
• Ability to define architecture standards, review processes, and governance.
• Able to influence executives and mentor senior engineers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Define and own JSSI’s AI First enterprise architecture vision and standards.
• Chair ARB and uphold shared architecture standards across verticals.
• Lead two AI Solution Architects and partner with Directors of Engineering.
• Publish reference architectures, ADRs, and reusable patterns.
• Govern AI First development, code ownership, review expectations, and security.
• Ensure responsible AI across production systems and regulatory alignment.
• Drive architecture maturity, pattern reuse, and measurable delivery improvements.
