Procore's Aerial team is seeking a senior engineering leader to guide a distributed, senior staff team responsible for turning thousands of drone images into scalable, survey-grade maps. You will own roadmap alignment with Product, mentor engineers, and stay hands-on with prototyping and code.

Experience building data-heavy, cloud-based systems and applying AI to improve processes is essential. You’ll partner with customers and leadership, while focusing on reliability and measurable outcomes

Qualifications

• 8+ years engineering experience with 5+ years leading engineers.
• Track record of delivering multi-quarter technical programs with measurable outcomes.
• Hands-on coding and systems design across web, backend, and cloud.
• Experience applying AI to product development and team processes.
• Ability to ramp into complex domains quickly and ramp teams.
• Customer-focused product and UX driven decisions.

Responsabilités

• Lead the team to deliver large, business-critical, technical initiatives through to completion.
• Make a strong team stronger by growing engineers into technical leaders.
• Evolve how the team works with AI with planning, prototyping, debugging, and shipping.
• Own the Aerial experience by shaping the roadmap with Product and owning outcomes.
• Stay hands-on with PRs, prototypes, and debugging alongside the team.
• Set technical direction with the principal engineer covering architecture and platform investment.
• Own quality and reliability through metrics and observability.
