Job summary

eMoney is seeking a Manager of Development to lead multiple software teams with a 1–3 year roadmap horizon in the United States. You will drive strategic direction, foster AI-first delivery, and ensure rigorous governance and quality in a regulated environment.

You will mentor engineers, guide product-architecture alignment, and promote continuous improvement, applying Agile and Lean practices while ensuring security and data integrity in all agent-based workflows.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• 1+ year of engineering team management experience.
• Strong Agile/Lean experience and frameworks (Scrum/Kanban).
• Experience attracting, hiring and developing technical talent, including distributed/remote teams.
• Hands-on with AI-assisted coding and agent tooling.

Responsibilities

• Attracts, hires, coaches, and retains high-performing software engineers with career development plans including AI fluency progression.
• Plan, manage, and lead delivery of roadmap items and modernization initiatives using AI-driven workflows.
• Maintain alignment between product roadmap, architecture, and software development processes to deliver value-generating software.
• Collaborate with product management, architecture, QA, and operations to define goals and ensure transparency in planning and delivery.
• Contribute to evolving architectural and development strategies for scalable, maintainable, high-quality systems.
• Promote Agile/Lean culture and shift-left practices; ensure AI-generated code meets testing and security standards.
• Deliver excellent customer experiences through reliable software products.
