Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an Engineering Manager for the AI Transformation team. This hands-on leadership role will guide architecture, delivery, and operational health of AI solutions, including agents and plugins, while building and scaling the team.

The role emphasizes secure, compliant development in a regulated financial services context, with cross-functional collaboration and KPI-driven delivery across multiple teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience building and shipping LLM-based or agentic AI products.
• Strong grasp of cloud-native architecture (AWS or equivalent), API design, and modern CI/CD practices.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and/or Python.
• Track record of hiring, coaching, and growing engineers.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and grow the AI Transformation engineering team.
• Own the architecture, delivery, and reliability of the team's AI solutions.
• Guide technical decisions on agentic workflows and orchestration; enforce security and compliance standards.
• Partner with Product, business units, and Governance to align delivery with outcomes across multiple teams.
• Drive CI/CD, observability, and manage technical debt and scalability.
