Job summary

Abnormal AI is hiring a Director of Deal Strategy & Operations to design and govern enterprise deals, lead a high-impact team, and drive AI-powered quoting and approvals. You will partner with sales, finance, legal, and product to shape multi-product, multi-year structures while ensuring data quality and scalable processes.

You will own the deal lifecycle from intake to booked revenue, embedding AI guidance and policy to accelerate closing while maintaining governance and accuracy.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in deal desk, deal strategy, revenue operations, or commercial finance at a high-growth B2B SaaS.
• 3+ years leading teams.
• Proven track record structuring complex enterprise deals six- to seven-figure ARR.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce and CPQ; strong CRM data quality.
• Experience applying AI/automation to deal workflows.
• Credible partner with Finance, Order Management and Legal.

Responsibilities

• Lead Deal Strategy for strategic enterprise deals with multi-product bundles and multi-year terms.
• Balance customer needs with guardrails; provide clear recommendations for exceptions.
• Own Deal Desk operations and ensure fast, well-governed approvals.
• Review non-standard terms with Finance, Order Management and Legal for consistency.
• Ensure Salesforce data accuracy and complete deal documentation.
• Design AI-first deal systems to speed quoting and guidance while preserving accuracy.
• Shape next-gen quoting with Revenue Systems on CPQ and workflows.
• Own playbooks and deal guidelines; keep them current with market changes.
• Coach and enable sellers with guidance and training for better deals.
