Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, data analytics, or related technical field.
- 10+ years in investment data, investment technology, product management, analytics, or related disciplines.
- Deep understanding of investment processes supporting portfolio management, research, and analytics.
- Strong expertise in enterprise data management and modern data platforms.
- Experience with multiple data domains: market data, security master, benchmarks, holdings, transactions, performance, risk, research.
- Proven ability to translate business outcomes into data requirements and delivery plans.
- Experience with leading investment data providers and modern data technologies (MSCI, Bloomberg, FactSet, etc.).
- AI is a core part of work and has been applied to improve analysis, profiling, and delivery outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Lead data components of Capital Group’s strategic initiatives across data domains.
- Translate business priorities into scalable data solutions for investment research, portfolio construction, risk management, and analytics.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, data leaders, and external providers to deliver trusted data.
- Define and validate data capabilities to support investment decisions across teams.
- Drive cross-domain delivery and align data requirements with business outcomes.
