Job summary

Databricks Inc. seeks a Sr. Manager for Data & AI Support Engineering to lead a global team delivering deep technical resolutions across Spark, AI/ML, Streaming and Lakehouse platforms. The role focuses on AI-first operational excellence, automation, and customer-centric execution.

You will guide engineering and product collaboration, drive governance and scalable workflows, and manage senior engineers and team leads across AMER support functions from the Dallas area.

Qualifications

• 10+ years designing, building and supporting large-scale Data & AI apps using distributed tech.
• Experience with AI-enabled support workflows and agentic AI systems.
• Production-scale delivery in Databricks tech stacks is a strong plus.
• Hands-on with AWS/Azure/GCP and cloud-based observability tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale a world-class AI-first Data & AI Support Engineering organization.
• Drive AI-first support innovations, runbooks, and automated workflows.
• Own engineering escalations and ensure faster resolutions for customer issues.
• Hire, mentor, and develop engineers and technical leads across AMER, based in Dallas.
