Job summary

Watsco Ventures LLC is seeking a Customer Solutions Engineer who embeds with our most strategic clients to translate business pain points into elegant, maintainable code. You will leverage AI-first tools to build integrations and data workflows that move at speed while ensuring reliability.

You will collaborate with Product & Engineering to turn recurring client requests into scalable features, and you will communicate architecture clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 4–5+ years of hands-on experience in software development, solutions engineering, customer-facing technical consulting, or technical ops.
• Proficiency in Python or Node.js/TypeScript for writing data processing scripts, background jobs, and API connectors.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, Webhooks, JSON/XML parsing, and authentication mechanisms (OAuth, API keys).
• Familiarity with SQL, cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure), and running scheduled/event-driven jobs (Cron, serverless functions, background workers).

Responsibilities

• Strategic Technical Delivery: Partner with strategic clients to map data workflows and build high-impact solutions.
• Customer-Facing Translation: Translate software architecture into clear, plain-English guidance for non-technical stakeholders.
• AI-First Execution: Prototype and deploy custom scripts, API connectors, and automated jobs using AI tools.
• Reliability & Maintainability: Ensure all scripts and integrations are well-documented and production-ready.
• Feedback Loop: Work with Product & Engineering to turn client requests into scalable features.
