Job summary

Coinbase, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer on the EAA Compliance CXAE team in Charlotte, NC. You will own end-to-end feature delivery across Golang and React, and drive vendor integrations to accelerate compliance workflows for millions of Coinbase customers.

The role emphasizes working on scalable services in AWS/Kubernetes, collaboration with product, design, security, and data teams, and mentoring peers to raise engineering quality. On-site in Charlotte; remote not eligible.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience building web applications with a modern backend language and a frontend framework.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and containerized deployment environments.
• Experience with distributed systems concepts such as caching, event-driven architectures, or API integrations.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Utilizes generative AI responsibly with human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end development of user-facing features across the compliance agent platform using Golang, React, and cloud technologies.
• Lead assessment and implementation of third-party tools and vendor integrations to extend platform capabilities.
• Partner with product, design, security, and data teams to deliver cross-functional solutions to complex problems.
• Build and maintain scalable, high-traffic services on AWS and Kubernetes with observability tooling.
• Mentor engineers on design patterns, coding standards, testing strategies, and deployment best practices.
