Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Boise, Idaho seeks a Workforce Development Specialist to lead training programs, document control, and onboarding for new team members. You will design OJT curricula, create SOPs, and manage governance while collaborating with subject matter experts.

The role emphasizes data analysis, reporting, and cross-functional project participation, with a focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement, leveraging AI tools to enhance training delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in HR/OD, Education/Adult Learning, Business Administration, Psychology or Behavioral Sciences.
• Master’s degree in Organizational Development, HR, Education, or related field preferred.
• Certifications such as SHRM-CP / SHRM-SCP, ATD (Associate or Certified Professional in Talent Development), CWDP, Instructional Design certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design OJT curricula, learning items, and resources for on-the-job training.
• Maintain and update training content, plans, objectives, and assessments.
• Create clear documentation including SOPs and work instructions, ensuring quality and standardization.
• Collaborate with SMEs to maintain controlled documents and supporting visuals.
• Develop data visualizations, dashboards, and metrics reports for stakeholders.
• Lead planning, implementation, and evaluation of programs aligned with strategic roadmaps.
• Contribute to cross-functional projects with defined scope, deliverables, and timelines.
• Support safety and quality training and ensure adherence to policies.
