Parker Poe, based in Atlanta, seeks a Billing Specialist to join our accounting team and manage billing for an assigned group of attorneys, liaising with clients on billing requirements and resolving invoice issues. This role emphasizes accuracy, timely delivery, and collaboration.

Formación

• Minimum five years of billing experience in a law firm or legal environment.
• Proficiency with legal billing and e-billing systems; experience with Elite/3E and Serengeti, Tymetrix 360, or CounselLink preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate work under deadlines.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Collaborative and team-oriented with a client-service mindset.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with attorneys, clients, and colleagues.
• Comfortable using Firm-approved AI and technology tools to improve workflows.
• Flexibility to work additional hours, including evenings or weekends when needed.
• Occasional travel as business needs require.

Responsabilidades

• Manage client billing for an assigned group of attorneys, ensuring invoices are accurate and on time.
• Coordinate invoice setup, review, and processing with clients, including e-billing requirements.
• Monitor e-billing submissions, troubleshoot errors, and ensure invoices are accepted.
• Maintain billing records by uploading cost data, posting expenses, and resolving discrepancies.
• Deliver responsive billing support to attorneys, clients, and stakeholders.
• Assist with W-9s, credit requests, and other billing needs while providing professional service.
• Prepare and distribute billing and financial reports as needed.
• Back up bank reconciliations and assist with other accounting tasks as needed.
• Identify billing issues and recommend process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
• Utilize Firm-approved AI and technology tools to streamline processes.
• Collaborate with Accounting & Finance and provide support during peak periods.
• Follow Firm policies and billing practices; assist with special projects as assigned.
