Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Specialist in the Content Development team to create and review assessment content for K-12 state and district clients. You will work as a content and assessment expert, leveraging AI tools to improve item quality, accessibility, and alignment with standards.

Collaboration with educators and Pearson groups will be essential to deliver high-quality assessments. The role emphasizes AI-driven content development, cross-team collaboration, and continuous learning about new AI

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years teaching experience in elementary or secondary education.
• Strong knowledge of content area and educational trends.
• Experience with large-scale educational measurement is a plus.
• Demonstrated excellence in AI-supported content development or strong potential to leverage AI.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review content-specific test items across grade levels.
• Create item/passage/test specifications and blueprints.
• Leverage AI-powered tools to ensure quality and accessibility.
• Collaborate with educators to integrate AI-generated assets.
