Job summary

Stride, Inc. is seeking an experienced AI Engineer to lead end-to-end development and deployment of AI-powered data products for educational outcomes.

You will design models, build scalable ML pipelines, and collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to translate business needs into actionable AI solutions.

This home-based role requires strong ML theory and practice, cloud experience, and a focus on measurable impact on student retention.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Math/Engineering or related field
• Six or more years of related experience or equivalent combination
• Hands-on experience with ML libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) and statistics

Responsibilities

• Apply expertise in AI, model, API, and pipeline creation to inform product usage
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to identify trends and opportunities
• Ensure AI workflows are provisioned with high-quality data, security, and scalability
• Translate business needs into AI solutions that drive measurable outcomes
• Ensure AI outputs are measurable, documented, and monitored for drift
• Support integration of AI models into product throughout the lifecycle
• Provide thought leadership to improve academic outcomes via AI
• Facilitate adoption of Stride AI capabilities across schools
