Job summary

Amira Learning seeks a Senior ML Engineer to design and deliver production ML services powering AI reading tutors. You will build scalable Python backends, integrate NLP/LLMs, and craft end‑to‑end pipelines for real‑time content delivery across a nationwide remote workforce.

You will validate models, analyze bias, and collaborate with engineering, data science, and product teams to translate complex requirements into robust AI architectures.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in CS or related field and 18 months of ML services production experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated educational evaluation systems using speech recognition, NLP, and LLMs.
• Integrate third‑party AI services and open‑weight LLMs to deliver adaptive learning experiences.
• Architect end‑to‑end ML pipelines for data extraction, analysis, and predictive modeling.
• Build scalable Python backend services and cloud‑native infrastructure for low‑latency inference.
• Conduct model validation and bias analysis for accuracy and fairness across populations.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate requirements into AI architectures.
