Job summary

Shield Consulting Solutions is seeking an AI Engineer to design, prototype, and integrate AI-enabled capabilities into the existing RAD architecture. You will focus on applying LLMs to mission workflows, building multi-agent pipelines and prompts to automate reporting and dissemination.

The role requires strong Python development skills, experience with LLM APIs, and familiarity with AWS. Telework up to three days per week is available, with collaboration across systems, software, and domain

Qualifications

Strong Python development skills with production-quality code.
Hands-on experience building apps on top of existing LLMs via APIs.
Experience designing multi-agent or multi-step AI workflows with prompts and orchestration.
Strong prompt engineering skills and validating LLM outputs.
Experience integrating AI into RESTful APIs and microservices; AWS experience.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of AI-driven solutions and multi-agent workflows.
Integrate foundation models into the RAD architecture via APIs and orchestration.
Design, test, and refine prompts to automate manual tasks within agent pipelines.
Develop testing and evaluation strategies to ensure accurate and robust AI outputs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate AI approaches to stakeholders.
Stay current with evolving LLM and agentic AI technologies and apply them to the system.
