Citi is seeking an AI Engineer in the Startups & Partnerships team in Jersey City to drive Citi's AI strategy by building, testing, and shipping real AI solutions that address actual business challenges across the bank.

You will gain direct exposure to business requirements, evaluate cutting-edge AI models, and move fast inside a regulated global institution, delivering tangible results that shape how Citi leverages AI at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience delivering AI-powered applications in production.
• Hands-on with LLMs, prompts, and orchestration tools.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals across backend and frontend.

Responsabilités

• Build and ship AI applications, pipelines, and workflows in live environments.
• Evaluate emerging AI tech through structured PoCs and sandbox bake-offs.
• Prototype rapidly from ideas to working demos for stakeholders.
• Integrate AI components with enterprise APIs, data pipelines, and tooling layers.
• Produce clear narratives of impact for senior business and technology stakeholders.
