Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Junior-to-mid-level AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions that improve productivity across software development. You will collaborate with software engineers, DevOps, and leadership to identify high-value workflows and transform them using Generative AI, LLMs, agents, RAG, and intelligent automation.

The role spans from prototyping AI solutions to integrating them into existing tools and workflows, balancing strong software

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS, Software Eng, AI/ML, or related field.
2–6 years of software/AI engineering experience with production‑quality software.
Hands‑on experience with Generative AI and LLMs.
Proficient in Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript with solid CS fundamentals.

Responsibilities

Develop and integrate AI/GenAI capabilities into software development tools and workflows.
Build applications using LLMs, RAG, AI agents, tool calling, MCP, embeddings, and vector databases.
Create AI-powered assistants and automation to help engineers understand code and diagnose failures.
Integrate AI capabilities with existing engineering systems and CI/CD pipelines.
Design agentic workflows that reason over engineering data and take actions via approved tools.
