Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Junior Software Engineer to support design, development, testing, and operation of secure Generative AI products and platforms. You will work with experienced engineers to build skills in LLMs, RAG, vector databases, and cloud technologies.

Qualifications

• Foundational software development knowledge from academic projects or internships.
• Basic proficiency in Python or Go with APIs, testing, and version control.
• Interest in Generative AI and LLM concepts.
• Basic cloud concepts, preferably AWS.
• Foundational networking and systems concepts.
• Ability to work in an agile team and take feedback.

Responsibilities

• Designs limited enhancements, updates, and programming changes for portions of subsystems.
• Analyzes design and determines coding, testing, and integration activities.
• Executes and writes portions of testing plans and documentation; debugs issues.
• Collaborates with team and partners to develop reliable, high quality solutions.
• Communicates status and resolutions with internal and external teams.
