Job summary

Kanu AI is hiring an AI Engineer to build the core platform across backend, AI agents, and cloud automation for data ingestion, ontology design, and generative outputs. You will engage with real customer workflows and rapidly iterate on practitioner feedback to ship production-ready features.

You will collaborate with product and GTM teams to deliver human-in-the-loop experiences, enhancing reliability, performance, and testing.

Qualifications

• 2+ years building production-grade full-stack applications.
• Experience in fast-moving, high-ownership environments.
• Ability to communicate clearly across teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain full-stack features: backend APIs, agent orchestration, LLM integration and optimization, evals, and cloud integrations
• Build platform primitives: document extraction with citations, ontologies, reusable modules, and generative outputs
• Work with real customer workflows and iterate rapidly on practitioner feedback
• Collaborate with product and GTM teams to deliver enterprise-ready, human-in-the-loop experiences
• Improve reliability, performance, and testing coverage across the platform
