Agentic Systems in Austin is seeking an AI Engineer to design, build, and operate agentic AI systems. You will own components from prototype through production, shipping LLM-powered agents that reason over data, call tools, and execute multi-step workflows.

The role emphasizes hands-on Python and ML foundations, experience with LLM orchestration frameworks, and end-to-end system ownership in a fast-paced environment.

Qualificações

• 3–5 years of professional software, ML, or data engineering experience including 1 year building LLM/GenAI apps.
• Strong Python production coding, testing, packaging, async patterns and API development.
• Hands‑on experience with at least one LLM orchestration framework in a shipped app.
• Experience building RAG systems with embeddings, vector stores, and retrieval tuning.
• Expert prompt engineering, structured output, function/tool calling, and context management.
• Solid SQL and cloud data platform knowledge with enterprise schemas.

Responsabilidades

• Design and ship LLM-powered agents that plan, call tools, and complete multi-step tasks.
• Develop production Python services and APIs for agent/model inference (FastAPI, Docker).
• Build multi-agent workflows with planner, executor, reviewer, and specialist roles.
• Create and expose tools via function-calling and MCP servers.
• Instrument tracing, cost accounting, latency monitoring, and logs for operability.
• Advance MLOps and LLMOps with versioning, automated tests, and safe rollouts.
• Collaborate with data engineers and product stakeholders to automate workflows.
