Job summary

Uline, a leading North American distributor, seeks an AI Engineer to partner with business teams and develop GenAI-powered solutions. You will design, build and deploy AI models and data pipelines to automate processes and improve decision-making across the organization.

You will monitor production performance, establish standards, and help scale AI capabilities. This on-site role offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities within a stable, family-owned company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related field.
• 2+ years in AI/ML, data science or software engineering.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying ML models and GenAI applications.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL with data pipelines and cross-system data integration.
• Strong communication; ability to simplify complex technical information.
• Uline does not participate in the H-1B lottery.

Position Responsibilities

• Partner with business teams to identify opportunities where AI can improve processes, solve business challenges and support strategic goals.
• Design, build and deploy AI solutions, including machine learning models, GenAI applications, agents and data pipelines to improve business processes.
• Monitor and optimize solutions in production, using performance data and user feedback to drive improvements.
• Help establish development standards, reusable tools and best practices as Uline expands its AI capabilities.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• 2+ years of AI, machine learning, data science or software engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience building deploying machine learning models and GenAI applications.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience building data pipelines and integrating data across systems.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical information.
• Uline does not participate in the H-1B lottery.
