Job summary

Ninesmw is seeking an AI Engineer to partner with cross-functional teams and develop applications that automate processes and support decision-making. This on-site role in the United States focuses on deploying AI solutions and establishing best practices to scale AI across the organization.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in AI/ML or software engineering, proficiency in Python and SQL, and strong communication skills to translate complex concepts for business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building and deploying ML models and GenAI applications.

AI Engineer Corporate Headquarters 12575 Uline Drive, Pleasant Prairie, WI 53158. Help shape the future of AI at Uline. As an AI Engineer, you'll partner with teams across the business to develop applications that improve efficiency, automate processes and support better decision-making. Monitor performance to enhance AI capabilities and help establish best practices to support our growing North American company.

Position Responsibilities

• Partner with business teams to identify opportunities where AI can improve processes, solve business challenges and support strategic goals.
• Design, build and deploy AI solutions, including machine learning models, GenAI applications, agents and data pipelines to improve business processes.
• Monitor and optimize solutions in production, using performance data and user feedback to drive improvements.
• Help establish development standards, reusable tools and best practices as Uline expands its AI capabilities.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• 2+ years of AI, machine learning, data science or software engineering experience.
• Hands‑on experience building deploying machine learning models and GenAI applications.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience building data pipelines and integrating data across systems.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical information.
