Job summary

Uline, a family-owned company and North America’s leading distributor, seeks an AI Engineer at its Corporate Headquarters in Pleasant Prairie, WI. You will partner with teams across the business to design and deploy AI solutions that automate processes and support data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities include building ML models and GenAI applications, designing data pipelines, monitoring production performance, and establishing best practices as Uline expands its AI capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• 2+ years of AI, machine learning, data science or software engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience building deploying machine learning models and GenAI applications.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience building data pipelines and integrating data across systems.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical information.
• Uline does not participate in the H-1B lottery.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business teams to identify opportunities where AI can improve processes, solve business challenges and support strategic goals.
• Design, build and deploy AI solutions, including machine learning models, GenAI applications, agents and data pipelines to improve business processes.
• Monitor and optimize solutions in production, using performance data and user feedback to drive improvements.
• Help establish development standards, reusable tools and best practices as Uline expands its AI capabilities.
