Job summary

Ascendion is seeking a skilled Conversational AI Engineer to configure and maintain AI-powered customer experiences. You will translate business needs into AI configurations, design flow prompts, and ensure seamless tool integrations.

Collaborate with enterprise clients, test and troubleshoot across platforms, and support ongoing platform enhancements. This full-time role offers comprehensive benefits and a salary range of $125,000–$130,000 annually.

Qualifications

• Configure and maintain conversational AI solutions using platforms, agents, tools, and orchestration frameworks.
• Gather, document, and translate business and member-service requirements into conversational AI configurations, workflows, and user experiences.
• Design conversation flows, prompts, tool configurations, knowledge sources, and escalation workflows.
• Configure integrations with enterprise systems using APIs and service endpoints.
• Perform testing, validation, troubleshooting, and ongoing platform support.

About the Role:

Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $125,000 - $130,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
