Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Senior AI/Software Engineer to serve as the primary liaison between business teams and the AI platform team in Illinois. You will embed within a business line to drive delivery of AI use cases and translate business needs into technical requirements and designs.

You will guide implementation of AI solutions leveraging LLMs, RAG, and related technologies, providing hands-on technical guidance across architecture, tooling, and platform capabilities.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in software or AI engineering or solution engineering.
• Hands-on with Generative AI technologies, including LLMs and RAG.
• Proficiency in Python and API-based or microservices architecture.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure and/or AWS).
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and modern engineering environments.
• Ability to design and guide AI solutions in enterprise systems.
• Strong communication across cross-functional stakeholders.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot, unblock blockers, and accelerate delivery.
