Job summary

Smart Tech Contracting, LLC is seeking an AI Program Manager for the Special Projects & Innovation group. This remote role oversees the transition of AI initiatives from experiment to governed, scalable capability, coordinating cross‑functional AI Champions and setting policy, standards, and development frameworks.

You will lead AI tool deployment, design scalable platforms, and drive adoption while reporting to the VP of Engineering & Technology. Travel is occasional.

Qualifications

• Experience maturing an AI enablement program or Center of Excellence at a fast‑scaling company.
• 5+ years in software / AI development, technical program management, or AI/ML enablement.
• 2+ years building, leading, or maturing an AI enablement program at a similarly sized organization.

Responsibilities

• Establish light-touch governance for AI use company-wide with data-handling and security guardrails.
• Raise the AI fluency of the entire company through hands-on training and documentation.
• Turn prototypes into deployable AI tools and integrations.
