Job summary

The Consultant, AI Enablement & Work Redesign at American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) supports AI, automation, and workforce transformation to lift business performance and efficiency. This role partners with operations and stakeholders to identify opportunities, implement solutions, and drive adoption of approved technologies.

Based in ABS Group's Delta team, you will collaborate across projects, document current-state processes, develop requirements, and design future-state workflows while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years of relevant professional experience in consulting, process improvement, business analysis, technology enablement, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Deliver AI enablement and work redesign workstreams within scope, timeline, and budget.
• Collaborate with project teams, provide status updates, and identify risks and dependencies.
• Build relationships with stakeholders to understand goals, challenges, and improvement opportunities.
• Document current-state processes and performance metrics through interviews and analyses.
• Evaluate processes for automation, AI augmentation, or continued human execution with risk and adoption considerations.
• Configure, test, and deploy prototype solutions using ABS's AI platform and Microsoft/Oracle tech.
• Develop business requirements, user stories, testing scenarios, and acceptance criteria.
• Design future-state workflows involving employees, AI agents, and enterprise systems.
• Support testing, user acceptance, and implementation with feedback logging.
• Perform quality assurance on deliverables and AI outputs for accuracy and usability.
• Assist with knowledge-base governance and AI lifecycle activities including monitoring and maintenance.
• Support organizational change through communications, training, and adoption activities.
• Track outcomes and communicate results and recommendations; identify expansion opportunities.
