Job summary

Carnegie Mellon University’s Computing Services seeks an AI Enablement Associate to help faculty, staff, and campus partners effectively use university-supported AI tools. You will respond to inquiries, develop documentation, coordinate training, and support scalable AI enablement across the university.

The role offers hands-on experience in AI enablement, user support, and program delivery, with opportunities to grow into advanced AI consulting roles within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Analytics, Communications, Educational Technology, Instructional Design, or related field.
• Experience in higher education, enterprise technology, or large decentralized orgs preferred.
• Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences and produce user-friendly documentation.

Responsibilities

• Respond to user inquiries and provide hands-on support.
• Develop and maintain documentation, knowledge base, and training materials.
• Coordinate workshops, webinars, and campus events; support program delivery.
• Identify and suggest improvements to processes and materials for scale.
