Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Consultant in the Laboratory Informatics domain in the United States. You will deliver strategies and roadmaps for digital laboratory operations, leveraging AI, IoT, and cloud technologies across Life Sciences.

Expect to travel up to 50% to client sites and work with leading tools to modernize scientific data management. You’ll join a team that combines scientific and informatics expertise with strategy and business consulting to drive transformation for clients in R&D and

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in scientific and laboratory informatics within R&D and/or QC Manufacturing spaces.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a Laboratory Science / Life Science or Computer Science or Engineering.
• Preferred: 2 years of experience in consulting.
• Experience with life sciences R&D, QC, or IT.
• Hands-on experience with laboratory informatics solutions such as Benchling, Revvity Signals, Dotmatics, LabVantage, LabWare, Scitara, or TetraScience.

Responsibilities

• Apply management consulting and design-thinking techniques to redesign the scientific user experience.
• Help shape the client’s transformation vision, focus areas, and journey from current state to a to-be enterprise environment.
• Reimagine, plan and execute how AI reshapes the laboratory landscape.
• Redesign processes and operating models to enable data-driven business cases.
• Advise on data and system architectures as they relate to laboratory solutions.
• Collaborate with client leaders to gain alignment on recommended solutions.
• Oversee and implement digital lab capabilities including LIMS, ELN, CDS, SDMS, IoT, and cloud.
