Job summary

BEM Systems, An Aventia Company, Madison, NJ, is seeking a senior Project Manager to lead enterprise software implementations from kickoff to support and to oversee complex, multi-team delivery.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent), 10+ years of PM experience, PMP, and strong stakeholder/communication skills. Compensation ranges from $120,000 to $155,000 with full benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of project management experience leading enterprise software implementations.
• Experience managing $1M-$5M projects from initiation to deployment and support.
• Proficiency with scope management: baselining, traceability, impact assessment, change control, scope creep prevention.
• Experience managing fixed-price projects, budgets, forecasts, margins, milestone invoicing, risks, and contract deliverables.
• Experience leading training, adoption, and organizational change for enterprise implementations.
• Experience leading onsite, remote, and offshore software development teams across multiple time zones.
• Strong multi-project management capabilities: prioritization, resource coordination, dependency management, schedule recovery, and executive reporting.
• Advanced stakeholder management skills, aligning executives, client teams, technical teams, subcontractors, and other partners.
• Proficiency with AI-enabled productivity and project management tools.
• Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum and traditional PM methods.
• Excellent client-facing communication, facilitation, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• PMP certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple enterprise software implementations and upgrades from kickoff through acceptance and transition to support.
• Own project plans, schedules, budgets, forecasts, resources, milestones, dependencies, and delivery reporting.
• Maintain SOW and change control to prevent scope creep; manage margins and invoicing.
• Serve as the primary client contact and lead status meetings, working sessions, steering committees, demonstrations, and executive communications.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across analysis, configuration, development, migrations, testing, training, deployment, and support.
• Manage risks, issues, decisions, actions, acceptance, and delivery quality; drive corrective action.
• Lead readiness, testing, training, go-live, stabilization, stakeholder communications, adoption, and organizational change activities.
• Use AI and automation tools to improve planning, reporting, meeting follow-up, risk analysis, documentation, and delivery efficiency with human review and security controls.
• Capture lessons learned and improve delivery methods, templates, estimates, metrics, and portfolio visibility.
