Job summary

The University of Wisconsin–Madison, Department of Radiology, is seeking an Executive Assistant I to provide comprehensive administrative support to the Department Chair. This role manages complex calendars, meetings, travel, and communications with internal and external stakeholders, while maintaining confidentiality and high attention to detail.

Qualifications

  • Five (5) years of administrative support experience, including direct support of senior leaders and executives.
  • At least one (1) year of professional experience managing complex calendars, coordinating meetings, and arranging travel logistics at an executive level.
  • Experience preferred in higher education, academic medicine, healthcare, or research settings.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and facilitates communications between internal and external stakeholders.
  • Screens and evaluates correspondence and reports; recommends actions.
  • Schedules meetings, conferences, and travel; manages leadership schedules.
  • Monitors budgets and reviews expenditures.
  • Organizes records and maintains confidentiality.
