Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field.
• Hands-on experience developing HTML emails with table-based layouts and inline CSS.
• Experience QA-ing email rendering across clients and devices.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of email HTML/CSS differences from general web development.
• Experience using AI models/assistants in development workflows.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive HTML email templates/modules for consistent rendering across major email clients and devices.
• Build AI-ready modular email templates with metadata for automated assembly and safe reuse.
• Define and govern a template/module metadata standard to support AI-assisted content assembly.
• Create reusable template patterns to accelerate iteration and ensure safe reuse.
• Act as primary contact for email HTML questions, advising stakeholders on approaches and tradeoffs.
• Collaborate with design, marketing, and delivery teams to translate concepts into email solutions and ensure timely execution.
• Troubleshoot rendering issues and implement robust fallbacks for client-specific constraints and dark mode.
• Leverage AI to accelerate implementation, refactoring, debugging, and variation generation with validation.
• Create technical docs, best practices, and reusable patterns to improve consistency and quality.
• Apply accessibility-minded practices in email development and support practical constraints.
• Suggest tooling and process improvements to the team.
