Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Senior Principal Software Engineer to lead strategy and development across multiple products and AI-enabled platforms. You will craft novel production code, set enterprise-wide standards, and guide teams through scalable, secure engineering practices.

You will translate complex technical trends for leadership and drive adoption of modern SLDC automation, governance, and AI-enabled solutions across portfolios.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 7+ years applied experience.
• Proficiency in designing and scaling agentic AI-enabled development patterns.
• Strong understanding of responsible AI use, security, resiliency, and governance; advisory to senior leaders.
• Proven track record building and operating 24x7 tier-1 online services.
• Experience influencing across functions and delivering value at scale.

Responsibilities

• Advises and leads on strategy and development of multiple products and technologies across a portfolio.
• Creates novel code solutions and drives production code capabilities across teams.
• Sets strategy for AI-enabled engineering with governance and security guardrails.

• Influences business, product, and technology teams and manages senior stakeholders.
• Acts as go-to subject matter expert for the function.
