Job summary

Pendo is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer with a strong frontend focus to build customer experiences and backend services. You will work primarily in Vue, JavaScript, and TypeScript, and contribute to AI-powered product capabilities including MCP and LLMs.

This Raleigh-based role emphasizes production-ready code, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Expect to own features end-to-end, collaborate across teams, and leverage AI tools to accelerate development.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience as a Software Engineer building and shipping production web applications.
Experience building full-stack applications with frontend in JavaScript/TypeScript and a component-based framework such as Vue, React, or Angular.
Daily use of AI tools in software development workflow.
Ability to independently deliver well-scoped features and break work into small increments.
Experience applying unit, integration, or end-to-end testing strategies.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, including planning, technical discussions, and code reviews.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

Own well-scoped features from implementation through production.
Build across the frontend and backend with a strong lean toward TypeScript and Vue.js.
AI and MCP development: Build and expand MCP and AI-powered capabilities using LLMs and related tech.
Write production-ready code and apply testing strategies.
Use AI coding tools as a core part of your daily workflow.
Participate in planning and technical discussions, and provide code reviews.
