Job summary

Pendo’s Raleigh-based team is seeking a Software Engineer to own feature delivery across frontend and backend, with a bias toward TypeScript and Vue.js. You’ll push AI-powered capabilities, work on MCP development, and help productionize software using robust testing and release practices.

You’ll collaborate with product and design, apply AI tools as a core part of daily workflow, and contribute to building scalable, accessible experiences for customers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building production web apps as a Software Engineer.
• Daily use of AI tools in software development workflows.
• Ability to deliver well-scoped features independently and in increments.
• Experience applying unit/integration/end-to-end testing strategies.
• Strong communication, planning, and code-review skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Own well-scoped features from implementation to production.
• Break work into small, deliverable increments and track progress toward goals.
• Build frontend and backend with focus on TypeScript and Vue.js.
• Develop MCP and AI-powered capabilities with LLMs and agentic workflows.
• Write production-ready code and follow safe rollout practices.
• Collaborate in planning, reviews, and technical discussions to move work forward.
• Continuously improve code quality and reliability.
