Job summary

Pendo is hiring an AI Software Engineer in New York City. You will own end-to-end features across the service, interface, and their integration, working with Go services, Vue interfaces, install experiences, instrumentation, telemetry, and LLM-backed product capabilities.

You will ship in small increments behind feature flags, write maintainable code, and contribute to production ownership with strong collaboration and documentation. This role is based in NYC with hybrid in-office days.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience shipping full-stack features to production in a SaaS environment.
• Strong proficiency in at least one backend language (Go/Java/Python/C++) and one frontend framework (Vue/React/Angular).
• Experience designing APIs and building services on AWS or GCP against SQL databases.
• Hands-on experience building with LLMs, including API integration, prompt/design, or tool calling.
• Experience with agent frameworks (LangChain/LangGraph) and LLM evaluation tooling.

Responsibilities

• Full-stack feature delivery across Go services and Vue interfaces, production-ready and reliable.
• Develop install and instrumentation experiences for customers’ agentic systems.
• Capture and expose agent behavior, tool calls, failures, latency, and model-tool interactions.
