Job summary

Aagard is hiring a documentation professional to create and maintain operator manuals, maintenance guides, and system overviews for industrial equipment. You will translate complex engineering concepts into clear, customer-friendly content and ensure documentation aligns with standards and regulations.

You will leverage AI tools to draft, standardize, and automate updates, while collaborating with Engineering, Manufacturing, Service, Quality, and IT teams to improve content and workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience producing technical documentation for industrial equipment or manufacturing environments.
• Strong technical writing with high attention to detail.
• Reading electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and CAD files is advantageous.
• Experience using Word, SharePoint, and Confluence for content management.
• Ability to work with internal and external customers professionally.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clear, accurate, and usable technical documentation including operator manuals, maintenance guides, and system overviews.
• Translate complex concepts into customer-friendly documentation aligned with standards and regulations.
• Maintain version control, accuracy, and traceability across deliverables.
• Apply AI tools to improve documentation quality and automate updates from engineering data and CAD files.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Service, Quality, and IT to improve documentation content.
