Job summary

WithumSmith+Brown PC seeks a Senior Product Analyst to join the Innovation team in the U.S. offices, including New York, NY and others.

You will bridge the Tax practice with product managers, translating tax pain points into clear requirements and user stories for automation and AI-enabled tooling. You’ll lead tax-focused product delivery, write test scripts, coordinate UAT, and drive adoption across the firm while tracking ROI and value realization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Technology, IT, or MIS.
• 6+ years’ experience preferred in tax or Tax Products.
• Hands-on experience with Copilot and Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
• Familiarity with tax tech platforms and document automation tools.
• Experience running UAT, writing test scripts, and defect triage.
• Certifications in Agile and product management; Prosci/PMP a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to build stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary interface between the Innovation team, Tax practice, and Product managers.
• Document current-state tax workflows and identify opportunities for automation.
• Lead requirements definition and delivery for tax-focused products.
• Write user stories and acceptance criteria for functionality and technical capabilities.
• Build and execute test scripts; coordinate user acceptance testing with tax teams.
• Support product delivery, ROI realization, and adoption across the firm.
• Facilitate knowledge sessions and training with subject matter experts and stakeholders.
• Track adoption, usage, and time savings; report results to leadership.
• Participate in sprint planning and route user stories; understand data movements between systems.
