Job summary

Withum's Innovation team seeks a Senior Product Analyst to bridge the Tax practice and product development across multiple US offices including Buffalo, NY. You will translate tax workflows into actionable requirements, user stories, and capabilities for automation and AI-enabled solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required.
• 6+ years' experience in tax practice or Tax Products.
• Direct experience supporting tax workflows and busy season cycles.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot and Microsoft 365.
• Familiarity with tax technology platforms and document automation tools.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and user story creation.
• Product/agile certifications; Prosci/PMP encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Acting as the primary interface between the Innovation team and Tax practice to translate tax process pain points into product requirements.
• Document current-state workflows with tax SMEs across compliance, provision, and advisory to identify opportunities.
• Lead requirements definition and delivery for tax-focused products (client intake, workpaper automation, document extraction, review workflows).
• Write user stories and acceptance criteria based on business and technical needs.
• Build and execute test scripts; coordinate user acceptance testing and triage defects.
• Assist with product delivery and measure ROI of new products and features.
• Help the Innovation team align change catalysts for adoption and utilization within Tax practice.
• Facilitate knowledge sessions, demonstrations, and training with stakeholders.
• Track adoption and report results to Innovation and Tax leadership.
• Participate in sprint planning and define clear user stories.
