Job summary

The Trade Desk is seeking a seasoned technologist to lead Talent Acquisition platforms powered by AI and automation. You will own architecture, data models, and engineering standards, and collaborate with HR and engineering to deliver scalable, end-to-end solutions.

You will build and integrate full-stack applications, design AI-powered tools, and drive data pipelines across recruiting systems while communicating trade-offs to stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing, building, and scaling business systems or automation/data platforms.
• Experience owning technical leadership for a system or platform, setting architecture and engineering standards.
• Strong full-stack engineering ability with modern web app development (React, TypeScript, Node/Express) and APIs.
• Experience integrating systems and building data pipelines with data-model correctness and source-of-truth consistency.
• Ability to translate ambiguous business requirements into scalable technical solutions end-to-end.
• Strong analytical and systems-thinking skills; know when to build, buy, or integrate.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration with recruiting/HR stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical direction for a talent acquisition platform leveraging AI and workflow automation, including architecture, data models, and standards.
• Design, build, and maintain full-stack applications end-to-end from development through deployment.
• Integrate recruiting and HR systems (Greenhouse, Workday, CRM/TRM) and keep data pipelines in sync.
• Design and build AI-powered tools and automations to improve recruiting quality and productivity.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business challenges into scalable technical solutions.
• Act as a trusted technical partner, gathering requirements and communicating trade-offs to non-technical teams.
