Job summary

Occulytics Inc. is seeking a Solutions Engineer with a strong software engineering foundation and hands-on AI experience to build agentic systems and data platforms.

You will tackle technically complex challenges across client engagements and internal products, from building new agentic solutions to scalable platforms. This role emphasizes hands-on development, applying AI and data engineering to automate processes, unlock insights, and enable better decisions using client data.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering experience building production-grade applications.
• Strong Python and SQL skills.
• Experience building and integrating APIs, external services, and enterprise applications.
• Hands-on experience building AI-enabled applications using LLM APIs, RAG, agents, or related tech.
• Data engineering experience with pipelines, data modeling, and cloud data platforms preferred.
• Ability to translate business problems into practical technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy production software, including AI-enabled applications and agentic workflows.
• Design scalable, reusable technical solutions for multiple clients.
• Create AI-enabled apps that connect data sources, business logic, AI capabilities, and UX.
• Integrate solutions with APIs, enterprise apps, and operational workflows.
• Develop data platforms and end-to-end data pipelines for analytics and decision making.
• Produce reusable components and documentation to accelerate future client work.
