Job summary

Opendoor is seeking a Senior+ Agentic Analytics Engineer to help build proactive intelligence systems at the intersection of data science, data engineering, and AI. You will design and deploy AI agents, architect semantic layers, and ship tools that transform analytics into action across the business.

You’ll work to shift the analytics paradigm from reactive dashboards to anticipatory insights, shaping how leaders make decisions and how AI augments human judgment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of analytics, data science, or data engineering with growing scope
• Expert-level SQL with ability to design complex data models and optimize for AI consumption
• Strong Python proficiency for data engineering, automation, and AI agent development
• Experience with modern data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery) and the broader data stack (dbt, Airflow)

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy AI agents that monitor business performance and surface actionable insights
• Architect systems that shift analytics from answering questions to anticipating needs
• Create intelligent alerting that distinguishes signal from noise and recommends actions
• Build semantic layers and natural language interfaces to enable data access for leaders
