Job summary

Sunflower Therapeutics PBC in Medford, MA is seeking a Software Quality and Delivery Lead to own the SDLC quality authority and delivery lead, overseeing AI-generated code and outputs while ensuring rigorous regulatory documentation.

The role reports to the Director of Engineering Operations and focuses on scaling AI-assisted software delivery workflows, QMS alignment, and training engineering teams in best practices for software change control and quality governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years in software development, technical lead, or QA roles with code-review experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to align cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Audit agentic software and AI-generated code against specifications and acceptance criteria.
• Drive AI-assisted test planning to ensure unit/integration coverage.
• Manage software release lifecycle with proper versioning and documentation.
• Maintain architecture docs and Design Specifications under QMS and risk guidelines.
• Audit release notes for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Develop onboarding materials to educate teams on SDLC, AI workflows, and QMS standards.
