Job summary

Intuitive is a global leader in robotic-assisted surgery, seeking a Senior Software Quality Engineer to ensure SaMD, SiMD, AI/ML healthcare solutions meet regulatory and quality standards.

You will partner with software, systems, regulatory, and product teams to drive quality-by-design across the software lifecycle, from requirements through release, balancing risk, security, and reliability in a fast-paced medical device environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS/Engineering or a related field.
• 8+ years of software quality engineering or related experience.
• Hands-on in software testing, automation, DevOps, and risk assessment.
• Ability to review software architecture and design decisions.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent quality oversight across the software lifecycle for SaMD/SiMD and AI/ML healthcare products.
• Partner with software, systems, regulatory, and product teams to drive quality-by-design.
• Lead architecture/design reviews to identify quality, reliability, and cybersecurity risks.
• Evaluate CI/CD, release strategies, and SBOM governance for regulatory compliance.
• Mentor engineering teams on software quality best practices.
