Job summary

Micron Technology invites applications for a Software Development Intern within the Mask Technology Center in Boise. You will collaborate with software engineers to design, develop, and deploy AI-enabled applications that improve engineering productivity and operational efficiency.

The role covers the entire software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, coding, testing, deployment, and feedback.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program and cannot graduate before Sep 2027.
• Experience with Python, JavaScript, C#, or similar languages.
• Familiarity with SQL databases and RESTful APIs.
• Git version control and basic software engineering concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develop software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.
• Collaborate with software engineers to design and implement AI-enabled solutions.
• Work with LLM platforms, AI agents, and prompt engineering techniques.
• Integrate applications with databases, APIs, and enterprise systems.
• Participate in planning and code reviews.
• Create technical documentation and user guides.
• Test, troubleshoot, and improve software quality and reliability.
• Present project progress and final results to engineering and management teams.
• Follow Micron security, privacy, and software development best practices.
